HR Owen Cup
For the highlight fixture of Sunday's polo Andina played Quadriga for the HR Owen Cup. With a great roster of players on the field it promised to be a fast paced encounter. In the opening half Andina came out on top with a 4-1 lead established over Quadriga by half time.
Martin Hay's team were not to give up though and a strong display from them saw the deficit cut to just a goal in the final chukka. Some great teamwork in defence by Andina helped to make sure that the Quadriga comeback was not successful though. The match ended with Juan Cruz Araya Martelli taking the ball from goal to goal just before the final bell rang.
Watch back Sunday's HR Owen Cup.
BBVA Bowl
The second headline match the BBVA Bowl featured Tom Sime's Impavido team against Mavericks. Both teams in fresh 2018 team shirts looking ready for the action. Impavido gained the advantage from before the first throw in with a lighter handicap giving them half goal advantage on the scoreboard.
Even with the lower handicap the impavido team managed to build a lead throughout the match. With the help of their professional Ali Paterson the team stayed ahead to take the impressive win.
