We would first and foremost like to extend our deepest sympathies to those whose lives were impacted by this disaster. Many have been far less fortunate than we were. We would also like extend our deepest gratitude to the firefighters and volunteers going above and beyond to fight these fires. We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in the safe evacuation of our horses at Orange County Fairgrounds starting with OC Polo barn manager Bekah Segien and team of Kylee Isbell, Kelli Newton and Mila Herrera. Specific thanks to rockstar Janie Walker (Security Evacuation Operation Manager) and the OC Fair team: Keith Holbrook, Dean Lassiter, Omar Sanchez, Tom Scheafer, Jerry Eldridge, Ken Carnes, Kurt and his team from OC Fairground Equestrian Center, OC Fair Security Team Dylan, Reggie, Martin, Eddie, Don, Conrad, Leonard, David L., Delia, Ernesto, Mom (Jeanne Moody), Laughing Ponies, Dr. Collady DVM, countless volunteers including Corinne Finkelstein, Leigh- Ann Kazolas, Cindy (shavings transport), the amazing crew from OC Vaulting, and generous donations from Kruse Feed, Star Milling, Midway City Feed, Feed Barn (Costa Mesa), Hitching Post, Pavilions, Vons, Stater Brothers, Carls Junior. There are many people that I have missed but this list shows that it takes a village to come together and have success in such a stressful and unusual situation.
The OC Polo Club would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to those who helped during the Canyon Fire Evacuation
